Dylan Thomas’ fantastic reading of ‘Under Milk Wood’ performed by Dylan Thomas and a remarkable cast available for the first time on CD.

Under Milk Wood was originally a radio play and later a stage play and film which was written and delivered to the BBC in 1953.
Dylan Thomas wrote this as a radio play for voices and this is the only recording ever made with Thomas in the cast. Under Milk Wood is a play full of humour, a joyful sense of the goodness of life and love, and a strong Welsh flavour. It is an impression of a spring day in the lives of the people of Llareggub, a welsh village situated under Milk Wood. It has no plot, but a wealth of characters who dream aloud and where their innermost thoughts and dreams are laid bare to us.
